Be Part of the Solution to Creek Pollution!
Saturday, September 19, 2009 - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Come with friends, family and lots of energy to one of the sites below. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, gloves and sunscreen! Check out our Volunteer Information page for important instructions.

Why You Should Help!
Volunteering at a cleanup event helps to keep these natural parts of our county beautiful for everyone to enjoy. These events also give volunteers an opportunity to meet new people, to get outside, and to volunteer in a stress-relieving, natural setting.

Our cleanup days are also a great way to fulfill your community service requirements. Individuals, clubs, and classes are welcome and encouraged to come out and participate in our cleanup events.

All youth under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature on their Waiver of Liability, and also need adult supervision for the entire event.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants, sturdy shoes, gloves and sunscreen and bring their own pick-up sticks. (see our What to Bring section below.)

Cleanup Event Goal:
The goal of our cleanup events is to remove as much trash, debris, and recyclables as possible out of our water ways.

Cleanup Location coordinated by Santa Teresa Foothills Neighborhood Association:

Canoas Creek from Blossom Ave. to Lean Ave.

Meet at:   creek entrance on Snell Ave. near Santa Teresa High School (between Santa Teresa Blvd and Suisse Drive)
